Red Wednesday brings awareness to the plight of persecuted Christians globally. Around the world famous landmarks will be lit up in red on this day to bring awareness to the oppression of Christians. This year for the first time since its inception in 2016, Australia is participating in Red Wednesday. St Mary’s Cathedral Sydney, will be lit up in red to mark the occasion and Mass will be celebrated at 5.30pm. Show your support by attending an event; using social media (#RedWednesday); and by praying for all who are persecuted for peacefully practicing their faith.
